Fugitive Arrested, Narcotics Seized in Livingston Drug Bust

Livingston, TX — March 19, 2025

A late-night operation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of a fugitive with multiple outstanding warrants and the discovery of illegal narcotics in the Wiggins Village #1 Subdivision in Livingston.

According to authorities, Night Shift Patrol Deputies arrived at a residence around 11:30 PM on Wednesday to track down Mikell Allen Green, a wanted fugitive with eight outstanding warrants, including a State Jail Felony for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Upon arrival, Green attempted to flee and hide inside the home but was swiftly taken into custody without further incident.

During the operation, deputies also encountered Adam Eugene Wooten, who was found to have four outstanding Class C warrants.

While securing the residence, deputies noticed drug paraphernalia consistent with methamphetamine use. A search warrant was obtained from Justice of the Peace, Precinct Four, Jamie Richardson, leading to a full search of the property. Deputies subsequently seized methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia.

Both Green and Wooten were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 (Methamphetamine) in addition to their outstanding warrants.
