On Monday, May 26, 2025, while on patrol in the Shepherd area, a San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Deputy observed a truck commit a traffic violation. Upon conducting a traffic stop and further investigation, both the driver and the passenger were taken into custody.
The investigation revealed that the individuals were in possession of multiple narcotics and llegal firearms. Both suspects were arrested and face multiple charges related to narcotics and weapons offenses.
Sheriff Houston commends the patrol division and all supporting personnel for their continued dedication and hard work in keeping San Jacinto County a safer place to live.
