Adrian Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Credit Card Fraud Suspects with Possible Livingston Ties

May 13, 2025 – Adrian, MI — The Adrian Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to identify male suspects involved in a series of credit card scams within their jurisdiction. Authorities believe these individuals may be connected to the Livingston area.

In a statement released today, the department emphasized the importance of community involvement in resolving these cases. “We are urging anyone with information about these suspects to come forward,” said Sergeant Leslie Keane. “Your assistance is crucial in helping us bring these individuals to justice.”

The department is collaborating with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office to further the investigation. In a related incident, three individuals were arrested in Polk County, Texas, in August 2024 for credit card fraud. Ryan Cain Barnes, 27, of Livingston; Kevin Wayne Barnes, 49; and Raelynn Tina Herbert were apprehended following a vehicle burglary investigation. Law enforcement discovered stolen credit cards, a wallet with an AirTag, and methamphetamine in their possession. All three face charges including credit card abuse, burglary of a vehicle, and engagement in organized criminal activity.
