LUFKIN, Texas — A charter plane carrying five made an emergency landing at Angelina County Airport Sunday night after losing power in air.
Airport Manager Gary Letney confirmed with CBS19 the plane was a Embraer SA 505, and blew out all of its tires after landing after 8 p.m. The hard landing was due to the pilots lack of experience for the Angelina County Airport runway. It was initially headed to North Carolina. No one on board was injured.
