Onalaska Police Responded to Report of Missing Teens!

On March 2, 2025 and at approximately 1930 hours a report was made in reference to two juveniles who had left a residence without the parents knowledge. With the help of Texas Game Wardens, Texas DPS Troopers, and the Onalaska Volunteer Fire Department, the juveniles were located and were returned home within two hours.

We would like to remind the public that when juveniles are reported to law enforcement as missing or as a runaway, it is a serious matter and we will do all we can to find them. If you are contacted by a juvenile who wants to leave their home or have you come get them, even if you are a family member, we strongly advise that you contact that juveniles guardian and make sure they are aware of that.

We also highly recommend that when you are made aware that law enforcement is looking for a juvenile and you locate them, you should probably let law enforcement know before you decide to do anything else with that juvenile. Law enforcement will need to verify that the juvenile is safe and with their guardian.

We WILL pursue charges against anyone that harbors a runaway, interferes with our investigation, or brings narcotics with them when they pick up a juvenile. There are several other charges that could be filed as well, depending on the situation.

We want to thank our local first responders for their help tonight.
