HOUSTON, TX – A shocking incident unfolded overnight in northwest Harris County when three teenage siblings allegedly attempted to kill their mother after she turned off the home’s Wi-Fi.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 3400 block of Barkers Crossing Avenue, near Barker Cypress and Clay Road. When officers arrived, they found an adult female who had been assaulted by her three children, aged 14, 15, and 16.
Investigators say the teens became enraged after their mother disabled internet access. In response, they allegedly coordinated a violent attack, arming themselves with kitchen knives and chasing her throughout the house and into the street in an attempt to stab her. During the altercation, the mother was struck with a brick.
The children’s grandmother was also injured after being knocked over while trying to intervene and protect the mother. Fortunately, neither woman sustained serious injuries.
Authorities arrested the three teens and charged them with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. They were booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
The case is currently under investigation. Officials have not released further details regarding the teens’ legal representation or potential court dates.
