On March 25, 2025, a high-speed chase originating in Onalaska, Texas, culminated in the arrest of 38-year-old Justin Wayne Ille. The pursuit began when Ille attempted to evade Onalaska police on a motorcycle along FM 356, extending into Trinity County and involving multiple law enforcement agencies. After losing control of his motorcycle, Ille fled on foot but was swiftly apprehended by a K9 unit named “Grasshopper” while attempting to cross railroad tracks. Ille now faces charges including evading arrest and other related offenses.
This incident is not Ille’s first encounter with the law. In September 2024, he was charged with criminal trespass in Polk County. Two months later, in November 2024, he faced charges for making terroristic threats causing fear of imminent serious bodily injury. These previous offenses highlight a pattern of legal issues involving Ille in the region
