A fisherman discovered human remains Monday afternoon in a wooded area off U.S. Highway 59, just north of the State Highway 105 intersection in Cleveland, authorities said.
According to Cleveland Police Chief Darrel Broussard, the young fisherman was accessing the east fork of the San Jacinto River around 2:46 p.m. on Monday, March 3, when he stumbled upon what appeared to be badly decomposed human remains.
