SEGUIN, Texas (KTRE) – Former Livingston Lion Jacob Haynes tossed a scoreless inning of relief on Tuesday in Mary Hardin-Baylor’s 5-4 loss to Texas Lutheran.
The junior entered the game in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Haynes came in and forced Arias and Jen to fly out before getting Goudeau to line out and complete the 1-2-3 inning. Haynes faced three batters and threw seven pitches.
The loss was the first of the season for the Cru as their record drops to 3-1. Mary Hardin-Baylor travels to Austin to face Concordia University on Feb. 25.
